On the 18th of January 2010, The Leadership College opened in Manenberg. TLC as it is commonly known offered completely zero fees schooling where learners receive uniform, stationery, excursions, etc. at no cost. Today TLC still exists but the success has encouraged our institution to assist those learners beyond Grade 12. In June 2017 the Two Oceans Graduate Institute was registered with the South African Department of Higher Education and Training where some learners of TLC are now among others currently studying to obtaining their Bachelor Degree in Education.

The Two Oceans Graduate Institute is an online and distance mode of delivery, the teaching and learning method supports students in creating their own structure of knowledge of the discipline under study. It was therefore a natural progression for TLC to introduce a similar Learning Platform to High and Primary School Learners (TLC Online), however we have a more structured approach in comparison to the self-discipline study methods offered to Graduate Students.
